A breathtaking view opens up to visitors as soon as they enter Lindos, and for good reason, because today the Lindos Acropolis is one of the most striking examples of Greek architecture from the time of Alexander the Great. Imagine having a multi-leveled ancient Acropolis inside a medieval fortress! And to get to the top, you can take a Linde 'taxi', cute donkeys taking you straight to the entrance. The panoramic views are mesmerizing, with their own style and colour, the blue of the sea contrasting favourably with the dazzling white houses of the picturesque village. Lindos is a real gem, if you haven't been there you haven't been to Rhodes!
